OUR BROADCASTING DIRECTION IN TERMS OF AI-MUSIC
As a station, KIWIRADIO is becoming increasingly selective about AI-generated music submissions.
When reviewing submissions, we consider the overall artistic identity behind a project:
✔ live performance presence
✔ evidence of real musicianship
✔ originality of artistic voice
✔ visual presentation and authenticity (photos and music videos)
✔ we reserve the rights (quality control) to remove any musical works that violates our AI criteria, this includes free and paid tiers.
Projects heavily reliant on AI-generated imagery, video, or synthetic music production may be deprioritized in our radio programming and promotional reach.
We pay close attention to production quality, and sonic artifacts that are tell tail signs of AI. We encourage artists to collaborate, form bands, work with session musicians, producers, engineers, filmmakers, and creatives, and continue contributing to the New Zealand creative ecosystem. Our programming direction is simply a conscious choice about what we want to amplify.
