1) Send an mp3 file to kiwiradio@proton.me (attach the file and not an external link) - email subject $5 SONG SUBMIT
2) Find the VOICE MESSAGE button on our website (see below) and give us a small intro “Hi this is ARTIST and SONG (then 10 second story).”
3) If we suspect any AI we will decline the submission, we will look into your overall project with a critical magnifying glass, your photos, your music, your live music activity, everything.
4) Open to kiwi artists residing in New Zealand only.
5) Choose to get paid $5 CASH via bank transfer, or $5 off marketing campaign at: www.kiwiradio.nz/get-featured
6) Promo ends last day of September 2026, or first FIVE approved submissions. We will share the winners in real-time and when competition closes.
WE PAY KIWI ARTISTS FOR TOP SPINS
When you submit your original music (and are currently based in New Zealand) - we pay NZ-based artists for top radio plays every month.
We also have a broadcasting license, which we pay APRA NZ, a local body that helps fund new music in New Zealand. You must pass our criteria such as proof of musicianship and no AI-submitted music.
